Log Slitting
TBI has seven precision log slitting machines that can handle roll diameters up to 22”. These log slitters combine hydraulic slitting action with servo controls for accurate, repeatable results.
These versatile machines can handle a variety of materials including:
- Pressure-sensitive foams
- Double coated film tapes and transfer films
- Single coated tapes
- Rubber
- Plastic films such as polyester, polyethylene, and others
- Non-woven textiles
- Cork

- Can process materials up to 72” wide
- Standard tolerance of +/- 1/32”
- 22” max OD
- Can slit in metric or inch units
Rewind Slitting
It is often necessary to prepare materials prior to other operations such as die cutting or tp put them in a usable form for the customer. TBI has the equipment and expertise to rewind and slit materials up to 64” wide.

- Widths up to 64”
- 30” max OD
- Standard tolerance of +/- 1/32”
- 3” or 6” cores
- Can slit in metric or inch units”
- Score slitting
